三、教学步骤
Step1 Warm-up & Lead-in
Greeting
T: Good morning class.
Ss: Good morning teacher.
T: How are you today?(挑几个学生进行问候)
Ss: I’m fine, thank you. How are you?
T: I’m very happy today, because it is my restaurant’s opening day.
Look! This is my restaurant----Sindy’s restaurant!
Is it beautiful?
Ss: Yes!
T: You see, my restaurant is very big, so I need some waiters and waitress.
Look at the Recruitment information, I want you! Do you want to join me?
Ss: Yes!
T: If you want to be a good waiter or waitress, you need to have 3 tests.
Task 1 : Remember the food’s name in Sindy’s restaurant.
Task 2: Learn how to service the customers.
Task 3: Simulated training.
Are you ready to pass the test?
Ss: Yes!
Step2: Presentation
1. Task 1—Remember the food’s name
T: Hey everyone, please look at the picture and guess what is it.
What is it?
Ss: (Guess)(选几个学生起来回答)
T: It is noodles.
Practice the word ‘noodles’
(操练时先拿图片,集体练习几遍后贴到黑板的大菜单上)
Do you like noodles? 问的同时把图片贴上去
展示单词卡片,用单词卡片进行个别操练
T: You’ve already know the fist food in our restaurant. Let’s see the next.
What’s this? Who can guess?
Ss: (Guess)
T: It is beef. We can get beef from a cow
Practice the word ‘beef’.
(操练时先拿图片,集体练习几遍后贴到黑板的大菜单上)
I like beef. How about you?
Ss: Answer.
(操练单词时,给学生传递牛肉单词卡并进行朗读)
T: Please listen and guess. (播放小鸡叫音效)
Ss: Listen and guess.
T: I t is chicken.
Practice the word ‘chicken’.
(集体操练单词后请小老师进行个体操练)
T: What’s this?
Ss: It is a tomato.
T: How about this one?
Ss: They are eggs.
T: What can some tomatoes and some eggs make?
Ss: Guess.
T: They can make a bowl of soup.
Practice the word soup.
(操练时用两种声调进行练习)
T: This is my farm. All the food materials come from here.
What are these?
Ss: vegetables.
T: Yes, they are vegetables.
Teach the word vegetable.
(教授vegetable时,将其分为三个音节进行教授vege/ta/bles)
T: Now you have learned all the new food in my restaurant.
Do you remember them?
Let’s review all the food together.
(到大菜单处复习新单词)

Step 3 Practice
Task 2----Learn how to service the customers
T: Congratulations! You pass the task 1.
Let’s begin task 2—Learn how to service the customers.
There is a customer in my restaurant.
I will show you how to service her.
First let’s see what do we have today.
We have some vegetables, noodles, beef, chicken, soup, rice, fish, milk, juice and bread.
(请学生跟着一起说餐厅里有的食物)
Ask her ‘What would you like?’ (跳出服务员角色轻声跟学生说)
Ss: What would you like?
T: (扮演图中顾客) I’d like some vegetables, please.
(跳出角色问学生) What does she want?
Ss: vegetables.
T: (跳出角色对学生说) Ask her ‘What would you like?’.
Ss: What would you like?
T: (扮演图中顾客) I’d like some beef, please.
Ask a students to repeat the food she want.
(用同样的方式操练问句及单词共5遍)
Now I am a waitress, you are the customers.
T: Good morning. Welcome to my restaurant. What would you like?
(跳开角色提醒学生回答I’d like some…, please)
Ss: I’d like some chicken, please.(问全班学生时T指定一样食物)
(用同样的方式,对全班学生一起操练3遍。之后请学生一个一个回答,此时,食物任由学生选择。学生回答要哪种食物,则把相应的食物图片给学生)
T: OK! Do you know how to service a customer ?
Let’s review the steps.
(到黑板大菜单处,进行步骤复习,同时加上后面OK. … yuan, please.)
Do you remember how to service the customer?
Ss : Yes.
Step 4 Consolidation
Work with your partner. One is the waiter and the other is the customer. Practice how to serve the customers.
Dialogue: What would you like?
I’d like some…, please.
OK. …yuan, please.
(给学生3分钟进行练习,练习结束后每组请一组上台展示。)
Step5 Homework
Please design a new menu for your restaurant.
